Tales of a Viking: Episode One is a roguelike in which you play as a viking trying to make his way through a dungeon full of the undead. As you play, each level will be more difficult than the last, pitting you against stronger enemies in more complicated situations.
If you tap a tile, your character will move there. And if there's an enemy next to the tile, you'll automatically kill him. All the same, you'll have to be careful because some enemies can attack from a distance, like skeleton archers and skeleton mages, or those who shoot bombs.
Lucky for you, the character in Tales of a Viking has a wide range of abilities that you can improve as you level up. The jump, for example, lets you automatically move up to three tiles away. The axe throw, on the other hand, lets you kill an enemy from a distance.
Tales of a Viking: Episode One is a very entertaining roguelike that is reminiscent of a great game called Hoplite, only this time with pixelated graphics. Basically, this is an excellent game that any fans of the genre will absolutely love.
